About

I’ve always thought a flour covered apron was the chicest accessory. From the time I could hold a rolling pin, my Grandma had me in the kitchen baking pies from scratch. For my seventh birthday, I asked for privileges to use the “big oven” instead of my Mrs. Fields mini baker oven. I guess you could say that my culinary vision has always been greater than light bulb power could handle. As time went on, and more kitchen appliances became available, my love for cooking evolved into one of my top hobbies and earned me the reputation of the “foodie” amongst friends and family. With a degree in Marketing from San Francisco State, and a career in sales ops, my professional experience in food is limited to the restaurant jobs I held throughout college, but that hasn’t deterred me from getting creative in the kitchen.

Cravinator is all about following your gut instincts. Literally. See it, crave it, make it, satisfy. My personal diet philosophy is to eat things that make me happy: foods of not only sustainence, but also of quality and enjoyment. Guided by my pallet and uncanny ability to identify ingredients, “Is that a hint of nutmeg?” – I’ll showcase the foods I crave, and the recipes I’ve used to create them. From the sweet to the savory, I’ll share inspiration behind each dish along with a quick and easy recipe to follow.

Bon appétit!
